A massive thank you to everyone who made IBC's open show a success last night.

The visiting clubs (coaches & matchmakers), the England Boxing officials who gave up their time to be there , the supporters who packed the Boston Dome & helped raise vital funds for the club.

And of course the stars of the show, the boxers, who all showed great heart and performed excellently which for many was their first bouts.

Next IBC show is a Dinner Boxing Evening on Friday 4th December @ Royal National Hotel.

Dagenham Amateur Boxing Club host an evening of amateur boxing for Schoolkids, Youths and Adults of London Borough of Barking & Dagenham this coming Friday 30th October at their usual venue - Dagenham & Redbridge FC, Victoria Road, Dagenham RM10 7XL.

15 bouts are lined up with action due to start at 7.30pm.

The 'Daggers Boxing Team' will present 13 of their team members, including several youngsters making their debut on the night. 10 year old Lewis Smith is the youngest team member, who takes part in a 'Skills Contest'. He's joined by Roy Archer - also making his 'Daggers' debut.

Other youngster back in action are Schools ABA entrant - Liam Carter, along with newcomers Jimmy McDonagh, Patrick Ward and Jodel Moore.

Also, Senior boxers will provide some action with appearances from championship entries - Deniss Dagilis & Adrian Lionel, along with returning middleweight prospect Emanuel Atuwaogu.

Doors open at 7pm, with the first bell expected at 7.45pm.

Entry cost:

��6 kids (under 18 years)

A decent show, propped up with the inclusion of 4 x NABGC Youth Championship London 1/4 Finals. Also, a little bit of history - with 2 Dagenham boxers competing against one another at the Dagenham Show for the first time ever (a cracking bout aswell).

We're very very grateful to the travelling clubs - in particular Hastings West Hill ABC and Folkestone, but also Fairbairn ABC, Finchley ABC, Chalvedon ABC, Welwyn Garden City ABC, West Ham Boys BA, Nemesis ABC, Lion ABC, Hooks ABC and Lansbury ABC. 

Also, our sincere thanks to ALL the volunteer England Boxing Officials who made this show possible - Supervisor John Rider, Referees - Kamran Khan, Jumbo Basi & Tony Kennelly, Judges - Micky Quinn, Jason Bull, Annie Petrie, Timekeeper Mick Lawler, Recorder - Keith Mills and Doctor Bim Shrestha. Thank you all for you dedication to amateur boxing, and sorry it was a late finish (my fault entirely - I forgot the gloves, which had to be collected!).
