Washington Boxing Club has a new focus working within the communities and redeveloping its boxing team of both male and female boxers. The club has a number of male and female Army serving boxers that have now joined its books and will represent the Tyne Tees and Wear Region at various major championships up and down the country.
If you have previously boxed or have a desire to box, then come and have a look at the new set up and training programmes that will fluently run through out the year for Junior/Youth and Senior male and female boxers. If you have coaching qualifications/experience and would like to be involved, please pop down to the club for a chat.
Under the guidance and development of the new extremely experienced and already greatly successful coaches that already have National Champions, Regional Champions and Gold/Silver medallist’s at London’s prestigious Haringey Box Cup (Largest Amateur Boxing Competition in Europe) Southern Counties Champions, Midland Counies Champions and East Midlands Box Cup Gold medallist’s to name a few.
The training package will be run as follows:
Monday / Wednesday and Friday Evening:
5pm to 6pm Junior/Youth Fighting Fit sessions and Development Boxing
6pm to 7pm Senior Fighting Fit sessions and Development Boxing
7pm to 8pm Senior Female Fighting Fit sessions and Development Boxing
Tuesday Evening / Thursday Evening:
5pm to 6:30pm Washington Joeys Club 6 to 8 year olds
5pm to 6:30pm Junior/Youth Boxing Team only age 9 to 18 year olds
7pm to 8:30pm Male and Female Senior Boxing Team only
Saturday Morning:
10:00am to 11:30am Washington Joeys Club 6 to 8 year olds
10:00am to 11:30am Junior/Youth Boxing Team only age 9 to 18 years of age
12:00 to 1:30pm Senior Boxing Team only
Sunday Morning:
11:00 to 1pm Fitness for all (Cost £3 for Boxing Team members £5 for others). This will cover a wide range to suit the needs of all that participate with advice and help to support healthier life styles and also to help to condition individuals so that they are able to conduct exercise safely and more confidently.
